Antennas with Separate UHF and VHF Leads

Required: UHF/VHF combiner

This is not included with the TV, but is available at most

electronics stores.

1. Conne ct the UHF and VHF antenna leads to the UHF/

VHF combiner.

2. Push the combiner onto

ANT 1/MAIN

on the TV

back panel.

Mitsubishi strongl y recommends you avoid using
antennas with flat twi n leads. Flat twin lead
antenna wires are subjec t to interference which
may adversely affect t he performance of the TV.
We recommend using coaxia l antenna cable.

Antenna with a Single Lead

A. For an antenna with fla t twin leads
A 300-ohm-to-75-ohm transformer is required. This is n ot
included with the TV, but is available at most electronics
stores.
A1. For an antenna with flat twin leads, connect the 30 0-
ohm twin leads to the 300-ohm-to-75-ohm trans-
former.
A2. Push the 75-ohm side of the transformer onto
ANT 1
on the TV back panel.
B. For cab le or antenna with coaxial l ead
Connect the coaxial lead directly to
ANT 1
on the TV
back panel.
