Captions Menu, continued

Size

Select the desired font size. Large is the recommende d
font size.

Color

The available font colors are listed below. Text and back-
ground cannot be set to the same color.
White Yellow
Black Green
Magenta Cyan
Red Blue

Background

You can change the background color to make the digital
closed captions easier to read. The available background
colors are listed below. Text and background cannot be
set to the same color.
White Yellow
Black Green
Magenta Cyan
Red Blue
IMPORTANT
Mitsubishi recommen ds you use contrasting
colors for captions and ba ckground.
Black translucent bac kground combined
with a white font makes an easy-to-r ead
combination.
Use care when selecting c ustom colors. Your
choice may affect the re adability of captions .
IMPORTANT
The content of captions is de termined by the
broadcaster. If your captions s how strange
characters, misspe llings, or odd grammar, it is
not a malfunction of the T V.

Opacity (Font)

You can customize the visibility of your fonts using the fol-
lowing settings:
• Translucent: TV program is dim med behind the text
• Transparent: Invisible text reveals the TV pro gram
behind.
• Opaque: Solid text blocks view of the TV pro gram
• Flashing: Text flashes at intervals

Background Opacity

You can customize the background for digital captions
using the following settings:
• Translucent: TV program is dim med behind the
background
• Transparent: No visible background
• Opaque: Solid background covers TV pr ogram
• Flashing: Background flashes at inter vals
