6.4.6.6 Editing an Entry
You can edit an entry by selecting it and then clicking on the < Back but ton. T his takes you back to the
Destination screen, where you can make your chan ges. From th ere, click on the N ext> bu tton t o use the
edited entry without saving it, or click on the Add to List button to also save it. Note that the original entry is
retained, which is usefu l if you want to make entr ies fo r several people at th e same compan y, f o r example. Of
course, you can always go back to the Lookup screen and delete entries you don't want to keep.
6.4.7 The Coversheet Screens
A fax may be sent with or without a coversheet. A coversheet is a page that precedes the actual fax, usually
with some graphic design containin g a letterh ead, th e recipient 's name an d o th er in for matio n. T h e covers heet
may also contain a message. I n f act , many faxes consist of just a coversheet wit h a short m ess age o n it. Some
sample coversheets are provided with the PC In terface, which may be adapted t o suit your n eeds. See the
How to Modify a Coversheet section for more information.
6.4.7.1 The Coversheet Selection Screen
The Coversheet Selection screen is t he first o f two co versheet scr eens. H ere you can s elect a coversheet by
clicking on the desired radio button. Typically, the first radio button is used to indicate "No Coversheet",
while the other four buttons allow a choice between different styles. The text next to the buttons, as well as
the default selection, may be adapted to suit your needs. See the Setup section for details. The right hand side
of the screen sh ows t he selected recipien t(s). (Th e Lo okup screen allows you t o select mu ltiple recipient s fo r
the same fax.) If you want to change the contents of the Fax To list, you can do so by clicking on the <Back
button and then making the desired adjustments.
After making the desired co versheet selection, click on th e Next> key to go to the n ext screen. If you selected

6.4.7.2 The Coversheet Informat ion Screen
This screen is only displayed if you selected a coversheet. Th e Subject : box exp ects a o ne- line sub ject h eader,
such as "Daily Report", although you may leave this blank. The Note box expects a brief message of no more
than about a thousand characters. The text does not wrap, so press the Enter key when you want to start a
new line. You can use the ar ro w keys to scroll this message. You can save t he message and subject header by
putting a check mark in the Save changes box. This can be useful if you frequently send the same or similar
message to different recipients. You can remove a saved message by blanking it out and checking the Save
changes box before clicking on the Next> button.
6.4.8 The Options Screen
This is the final screen you see before you submit your fax. It allows you to change some options and to add
one or more files to your fax, if desired. Default values can be set up for the radio buttons, as well as for the
File List contents. See th e Setup section fo r m ore information .
6.4.8.1 Logo
By logo is meant a small graphics file, such as a lett erhead, that resides on t h e server (T4 file f o r m at ) and that
is included at the top of the fax's first page. It serves to identify and promote the sender or the sender's
company. Coversheets o f t en contain some kind of letterhead, in wh ich cas e t h er e is n o need to sen d a logo. A
