ADVANCED FEATURES
OVERVIEW
This chapter provides information on the new advanced features of the SuperScript 4650N and 4650NX. If your printer has an IP address and you are connected to the Internet, you can access most of these features from the printer’s home page. Most features can also be accessed through the Operator Panel. Advanced features include:
•Special spooling options like collation and job preview
•On Demand printing from a Zip drive
•Scanner/copy options
FROM THE PRINTER’S HOME PAGE
You can access the printer’s advanced features from the SuperScript 4650N(X) home page. When you click on the Advanced Features button, a welcome page appears with several navigational links on the left sidebar. For status on a print job, click on the Queue icon. To print multiple copies of a document after previewing a single copy, click on the RePrint icon. To access a list of printable files from the ZIP drive, click on the Zip icon. To see the last scanned image in the printer’s hard drive, click on the Image icon.
note: If you have the SuperScript 4650 model printer, you will not be able to take advantage of these advanced features.
