SETTING UP THE PRINTER

Installing the PPD

Follow these steps for installing the SuperScript C4650 Series printer driver extension and PPD file:

1.Close all open applications.

2.Make sure the Adobe PS icon shows up in the Chooser. If not you can install it from the CD.

3.Insert the SuperScript 4650 Series CD into your Macintosh.

4.Double-click on the SuperScript 4650 Series CD desktop icon.

5.The SuperScript 4650 window appears. If you need to install the AdobePS driver, double-click on the AdobePS Installer icon and follow the directions on the screen.

6.To install the driver (PPD) double-click on the folder with the model name of your printer on it. For example, SuperScript 4650N Installer.

7.From the installer window, double-click the Installer icon to begin installing the PPD. If there is an installer 2 it will automatically launch with the first installer.
