Database Administration (Cont.)
Install Database The Install Database option on the Database Administration menu is used to
create new database tables according to instructions embedded in Console Stats
software.
Note: This option is typically only performed during installation or (rarely) when the
database is removed. Once the new database fields are created through this op-
tion, use the Build Database Indexes option to name the database indexes that
are used during search and retrieval functions.
Step 1: From the Database Administration menu (Figure 9-2), press the ’I’ key
and press Enter. The Install Database screen (Figure 9-3) will be
displayed showing the status of the installation.

Step 2: The display will show the status of the installation . When the installation
is complete, press Enter.
