M Exposure Preview

Rotate the mode dial to A, B, C, D, E, For NMdbutton MA, B, Cor Dtab (A10) MM exposure preview

When the shutter speed and aperture value combination is changed in D (manual) mode, the brightness of the shooting screen will be set accordingly. When the setting is set to On, the brightness of the shooting screen changes.

•The default setting is Off.

Focus-coupled Metering

Rotate the mode dial to A, B, C, D, E, For NMdbutton MA, B, Cor Dtab (A10) MFocus-coupled metering

Set whether or not to measure the brightness by giving higher priority to the focus area when AF area mode (E47) is set to Manual.

	Option	Description
		When Metering (E43) is set to Matrix, the brightness is
	On (default setting)	measured with emphasis on the focus area. When Metering is
		set to Spot, the brightness is measured in the focus area.
	Off	The function for measuring the brightness coupled with the
	Off	selected focus area is disabled.
