Shooting with Remote Control ML-L3

4 Aim the transmitter at the infrared receiver on the front of the camera (A1) and press the transmission button.

Press the transmission button from a distance of 5 m

(16 ft) or less.

In the quick-response remote mode, once the subject is in focus, the shutter is released.

When the time for self-timer is set to Z10s (10 seconds) or Z2s (2 seconds), the self-timer lamp

flashes when the subject is in focus, and then about one second before the shutter is released, the lamp stops flashing and remains lit. To stop the self-timer before a picture is taken, press the transmission button again.

In the self-timer remote control mode, the remote control mode is set to Z(quick- response remote) when the shutter is released.

Replacing the Battery for Remote Control ML-L3 (3V CR2025 Lithium Battery)

When changing the remote control battery, be sure that the battery’s positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are oriented correctly.

Be sure to read and follow the warnings of “For Your Safety” (Avi) and for “The Battery” (F10).

BNotes on the Remote Control

The Remote Control may not function even from a distance of 5 m (16 ft) or less when shooting in backlit conditions.
