Changing the Image Quality and Image Size

Display the shooting screen Ma(Quick menu dial) (A69) MImage quality/Image size

The image quality (compression ratio) and image size can be selected for recording.

When the mode dial is rotated to e(movie) mode or h(movie custom setting) mode, Movie options can be set (A106).

Available Image Quality

Lower compression ratios result in higher quality pictures, but also larger file sizes, limiting the number of pictures that can be recorded.

Fine image quality than Normal, suitable for enlargement or

high quality prints.

 

 

File format: JPEG, compression ratio of about 1:4

Normal image quality, suitable for most applications.

NRW (RAW) +

Two images are recorded at the same time: one NRW (RAW)

Raw data from the image sensor are saved. Create JPEG image
