Press the cbutton (Playback mode) Mdbutton (A10) McDelete

Delete a picture. Multiple pictures can also be deleted.

Select an image to be deleted in the image selection screen. See “Using the Screen for Selecting Images“ (A95) for more information.

	Option	Description
		In the image selection screen, choose the pictures for deletion. See
		“Using the Screen for Selecting Images” (A95) for more information.
	Erase selected	• When images saved with an Image quality (A75) setting of NRW
	Erase selected	(RAW) + Fine or NRW (RAW) + Normal are selected, the NRW (RAW)
	images
	images	and JPEG images are deleted at the same time.
		and JPEG images are deleted at the same time.
		• When a sequence (E8) for which only a key picture is displayed is
		selected, all images in the displayed sequence are deleted.

		Delete all pictures.
	All images	• This option is not available when individual images in the sequence
		are displayed.

		Delete all images in the same sequence including the individual image
	Entire sequence	that is displayed.
	Entire sequence	• This option is available when individual images in the sequence are

		displayed.

		Only NRW (RAW) images are displayed in the image selection screen.
	Erase selected	Select and delete images.
	NRW images	• For pictures where NRW (RAW) and JPEG images are recorded at the
		same time, only the NRW (RAW) image is deleted.

		Only JPEG images are displayed in the image selection screen. Select and
	Erase selected	delete pictures.
	JPEG images	• For pictures where NRW (RAW) and JPEG images are recorded at the
		same time, only the JPEG image is deleted.

BNotes on Deletion

•Deleted images cannot be recovered. Transfer important images to a computer before deleting them.

•Pictures marked with the sicon are protected and cannot be deleted (E64).

•Iis displayed in the image selection screen for pictures where NRW (RAW) and JPEG images are recorded at the same time.
