General Radio Operation

App Button (TMS Feature Button)

This button brings you to the Text Messaging Service (TMS) feature screen.

4-Way Navigation Button

This button is used to scroll through the radio’s lists or items in the display, or both.

LED Indicators

The LED on top of the radio indicates the radio’s operating status:

LED Indicator	What it Means

Red	Radio transmitting

Blinking red	• Channel busy, or
	• Low battery (while transmitting)

Double blinking red	Receiving encrypted audio

Blinking green	Receiving an individual call
