Common Radio Features

Make a Private Call

1Press the PTT button to start the Private Call.

The called ID is momentarily displayed, then you see

PLEASE WAIT.

2When you are connected, you see the called ID. Press and hold the PTT button to talk; release the PTT to listen.

OR

If no acknowledgment is received, you see NO ACKNOWLDG.

OR

If the target radio does not respond before the time out, you see NO ANSWER.

3When your call is completed, press hto hang up. The radio returns to the home display.
