Send a Predefined Message

The Quick Text Messages are messages that are predefined and usually consist of messages that are used most frequently.

	1 Press E below COMP to	QT 001/002
	use the predefined message	I’ll be late
	OR	I’ll be late
	OR
	Press on the preprogrammed
	Quick Text button.	ADDR	BACK

The first predefined message appears.

2Press U or V to scroll through the list of predefined messages.

Note: Any programmable button on the radio can be programmed to access the Quick Text Messages feature.

See “Programmable Controls” on page 3 for more information on buttons that are programmable to access Quick Text Messages.

3When a message has been selected from the list, address your message and press the PTT button to send the message.
