Common Radio Features

Answer a Private Call

Use the preprogrammed Call Response button to answer a call.

1When a Private Call is received, you hear two alert tones, the LED blinks

GREEN, the call received symbol (m) blinks, and CALL RECEIVD is displayed.

2Press the Call Response button within 20 seconds.

If the caller’s name is in the call list, it will be displayed during the call.

OR

If the caller’s name is not in the call list, the caller’s ID number is displayed.

3Press and hold the PTT button to talk; release it to listen.

4Press hor the Call Response button to hang up and return to the home display.
