Speed-Dialling

Press Search/Speed Dial, #, and then the two digit Speed-Dial

number. (See Storing Speed-Dial numbers on page 7-1.)

Search

You can search for name s you have stored in the Speed-Dial

memories. Press Search/Speed Dial and the navigation keys to

search. (See Storing Speed-Dial numbers on page 7-1.)

* To search alphabet ically, you can use dial pad to ente r the first

letter of the name yo u are looking for.

Faxing from the automa tic document feeder (ADF)

Faxing from the ADF

If it is not illuminated in green, press (Fax).

Load your document. (S ee Load documents on page 2-1.)

Dial the fax number.

Press Mono Start or Colour Start. The machine starts

scanning the first page.

If the LCD shows Not Registered when you enter the

Speed-Dial number, a nu mber has not been stored for it.
