Fax Resolution
You can use the Fax Resolution key to chan ge the setting
temporarily (for this fax only). In fax mode, press Fax Resolution
and or to s elect the setting you want, and then pre ss
Menu/Set.

You can change the defaul t setting:

If it is not illumina ted in green, press (Fax).

Load your document. (See Load documents on page 2-1.)

Press Menu/Set, 2, 2, 2.

Press or to select the
resolution you want.
Press Menu/Set.

Press 1 if you want to choose more settings and the LCD will
return to the Setup Send menu.
—OR—
Press 2 if you have finished choosing settings.

Enter a fax number.
Press Mono Start or Colour Start.
Standard Suitable for most typed documents.
Fine Good for small print an d transmits a little
slower than Stand ard resolution.
S.Fine Good for small print or artwork and tr ansmits
slower than Fin e resolution.
Photo Use when the document has varying shades
of gray or photog raph. This has the slowest
transmission time.
