Faxing from the scann er glass
You can use the scanner glass to fax pages of a book or one page
at a time. The document s can be up to A4 size. To cancel, press
Stop/Exit.

If it is not illumina ted in green, press (Fax).

Load your document on the scanner glass. (See Using the
scanner glass on page 2-3.)

Dial the fax number.
Press Mono Start or Colour Start.
The machine starts scanning the first page.
If you press Colour Start, the machine starts sending.

To send a single page, pr ess 2 (or
press Mono Start again).
The machine starts se nding the
document.
—OR—
To send more than one page, press 1 and go to Step 5.

Place the next page on the scanner
glass.
Press Menu/Set.
The machine starts sca nning. (Repeat Steps 4 and 5 for each
additional page.)
■If the memory is full and you are faxing a single page, it will
be sent in real time.
■If you need to cancel before the fax is sent, press Stop/Exit.
You cannot send multip le pages for colour faxes.
