APPENDIX – E-MAIL ALERT FUNCTION

The following table explains how to set up the E-Mail Alert function via Telnet.

7:Setup SMTP (E-Mail)

1: SMTP		Set sending E-Mail
Transmit		via SMTP, enabled or
		disabled.
2: SMTP		Set receiving E-Mail
Receive		via SMTP, enabled or
		disabled.
3: SMTP		Set IP address or
Server		host name of SMTP
Name		server.
4: SMTP Port		Set port number of
Number		SMTP.
5: E-mail		Set the E-Mail
Address		address used for
		[From] field in the
		mail header.
6: Reply-To		Set the E-Mail
Address		address used for
		[Reply-To] field in the
		mail header.
7: Destination	1: To Address	Up to five E-Mail
Address1–	1–5	addresses to which E-

		sent.

	2: Modify mode	Select how to notify
		warnings/errors via
		E-Mail.When any
		specified status
		changes, E-Mail is
		sent immediately if
		“EVENT” is selected,
		or periodically if
		“PERIOD” is selected.
	3: Check time	Set duration (1-24
	(hours)	hours) to send E-Mail
		when you select
		"PERIOD" as Notify
		mode.
