Alarm Message List

Message	Meaning	Explanation
BATTERY LOW	Low battery	Battery power is getting low.

FILE	Erase-locked	Attempt to delete a locked file.
IS LOCKED
INDEX FULL	Index full	The file is full of index marks
		(maximum of 16 marks).
FOLDER FULL	Folder full	The folder is full of files
		(maximum of 199 files).
	Maximum number	The destination folder already
		has the maximum number of
		files (199).
MEMORY	Incompatible card	An incompatible card was
ERROR		inserted.
MEMORY FULL	Zero remaining	The card has no remaining
	memory	memory.
FORMAT	Formatting error	There was an error while
ERROR		formatting the card.
SYSTEM	System error	System error detected in the
ERROR		recorder.
INSERT CARD	No card	There is no card inserted.
CARD COVER	Card cover is	The card cover is not closed.
IS OPEN	opened

Action

Charge the batteries or replace with new batteries (P.13-15).

Unlock the file (☞ P.37).

Erase index marks that are no longer required (☞ P.38).

Erase unnecessary files (☞ P.31).

Erase unnecessary files (☞ P.31).

Insert a compatible card.

Erase files that are no longer required or insert another card.
