On-Screen Programming — provides helpful
instructions on the TV screen for setting the
clock, program timers, and quick timer record-
ing.
Trilingual Instructions — lets you select En-
glish, French, or Spanish on-screen instruc-
tions.
Memory Sentinel — protects clock settings,
tuner programming information, and timer
memory settings for about 1 hour in case a
power failure occurs or the power cord is un-
plugged.
Automatic DST (Daylight Saving Time) Ad-
justment — lets you set the VCR to automati-
cally adjust the displayed time for Daylight
Saving Time.
Mode Lock — prevents young children from
operating the VCR and prevents you from acci-
dentally changing the operating mode.
Audio/Video Input Jacks — let you quickly
connect another audio/video device such as a
camcorder to the VCR.
