Waking up the screen and turning it off

Wake up the screen and leave the phone turned off when you want to use only the organizer features of your Treo 750, for example, when you’re on a plane and want to look at your calendar. You can also turn off the screen without turning off the wireless features on your Treo 750. You can turn your screen on and off by pressing

Power/End .

TIP You can set how long the screen stays on. Press Start, select Settings, select the System tab, and then select Power. Select the Advanced tab. Adjust the number of minutes the phone stays on when idle using the On battery power setting.

Making calls from the Today screen

Your Treo 750 offers several ways to make phone calls from the Today screen.

Dialing from the Today screen

1Go to your Today screen.

2Using the numbered keys on the keyboard, enter a phone number in the Dial Lookup field.

DID YOU KNOW? When you're dialing a phone number, you can enter * and # without first pressing Option. This makes it easy to respond to further dialing instructions.

3Press Phone/Send to dial.
