[AF Assist Lamp]
Illuminates lamp when dark to facilitate focus alignment.
••The AF Assist Lamp has an effective distance of 1.5 m (4.9 feet).
■■Settings
[ON] Lamp illuminated with halfway press of shutter button ([ 
] appears)
[OFF] Lamp is not illuminated. (taking pictures of animals in the dark, etc.)
●●Do not block the lamp with your fingers or look at it from close range.
●●A vignetting effect may appear on the circumference of the AF Assist Lamp because the AF Assist Lamp may be obscured by the lens, however, this does not cause a problem with the performance of the camera.
●●The setting is fixed to [OFF] in the following cases.
••[Scenery] [Panning] [Night Scenery] [Handheld Night Shot] [Sunset] [Glass Through] ([Scene Mode])
••When [Conversion] is set
