Setup

Power On

Turn ON the scanner, then the printer. Next turn ON the

computer.

2	The scanner will be ready after approximately 20 seconds, and
	“Ready”, “PTR Initializing” will be displayed on the scanner
	LCD panel.
3	# The READY indicator on the printer starts flashing and

“Initializing” is displayed on the printer LCD panel.

$ After approximately 3.5 minutes, the printer’s READY indicator is illuminated and “Ready” is displayed on the printer LCD panel.

The printer is ready for printing.

Note:

BWhen you power on your system for the first time, if “New Hardware Found” is displayed on the computer screen, refer to page 58.
