Monitor Display

There are two monitoring modes, alarm associated (SPOT) mode and alarm ignore (OFF) mode, depending on the selection for MONITOR MODE in the ALARM SETUP menu. Typical cases are described below for each setup.

Alarm Associated Mode

The image of the alarm-activated input is displayed on the multi-screen monitor in a single spot mode, inter- rupting whatever the live, playback, single or multiple image previously displayed. When a new alarm is received, the lately activated input image will be dis- played.

The camera title and “ALARM” indication on the monitor will be alternately displayed while blinking. For example “CH1 ALARM” when an alarm is received from CH1, will be displayed on the monitor.
