Introduction
The S8/T8 chassis is a global TV chassisfor the model year 2001 and is used for TV sets with screen sizesfrom 25” - 36” (large screen), in Super Flat,Real Flat and Wide Screen executions.
The standard architecture consists of a Main panel, aPicture Tube panel, a Side I/O panel and a Top Controlpanel. In some executions, a Picture In Picture (PIP) panel is used.
The Main panel consists primarily of conventional components withhardly any surface mounted devices.
