7Use SELECT to record the program at daily or weekly intervals. Mo-Fr: Record every day from Monday to Friday. Weekly: Recording at the same day of the week, every week, for example every Thursday.

12Make sure that you inserted a recordable disc. If you inserted a write-protected discs recording will not occur.

13Switch off the Recorder by pressing ON/OFF or

B STANDBY/ON.

Timer recording without ‘VCR Plus+’

Use term ‘Timer Recording’ for all references.

1Press TIMER on the remote control.

2Select Timer programming with w/v (down or up cursor.)

3Press u (right cursor).

4Enter a specific month and date with w/v (down or up cursor) or with the digit buttons 0-9.

5Press u (right cursor) to select Ch.

6Enter the channel number you want to record with w/v (down or up cursor) or the digit buttons 0-9. Enter channel numbers as a three digit number. For example, for channel 12, press 0,1,2. A cross (X) will

appear if invalid information is entered.

7Press u (right cursor) to select Start.

8Enter the Start time with w/v (down or up cursor) or the digit buttons 0-9.

9Press SELECT to toggle between AM and PM. Press u (right cursor) to select End.

Enter the End time with w/v (down or up cursor) or the digit buttons 0-9. Press SELECT repeatedly to choose AM or PM.

Press u (right cursor) to select Record mode. Select the recording mode with w/v (down or up

cursor.)

If you make a mistake, go back with t (left cursor) and re-enter the information.

Confirm with OK.

When all information is correct, the data is stored in a timer block.

To end, press TIMER.

Make sure you inserted a disc without erase protection. If you inserted a disc with erase protection, recording will not occur.

Switch off the Recorder by pressing ON/OFF or

B STANDBY/ON.

If a timer recording is incorrect

The following messages may appear when you set a timer recording may appear in the timer menu:

Collision

The Timer recording overlaps with another timer recording.

Solution:

Ignore by pressing TIMER again. The program with the earlier start time will record completely. Then the remainder of the later program will record.

Edit one or both timer recordings.

Delete one of the timer recordings.

Please enter channel number

The VCR Plus+ system does not recognize the TV channel.

Solution

Select the required channel number with t/u (left or right cursor).

Press OK to conform.

PlusCode wrong

You entered an incorrect PlusCode number.

Solution:

Enter the correct information or quit by pressing

TIMER.
