5 Feature Configuration
A feature is a logical entity presenting a function module of IP PBX, e.g.
5.1Call Park
During a call, the callee may want to continue the conversation using another phone. The call park feature enables so by letting the callee transfer the call to the call park pilot number. IP PBX will respond an available park line from the pool of call park numbers to the callee. After that the callee may hang up current phone, move to another phone, and dial the park line number told by IP PBX to resume conversation with the caller. If the callee does not call the given park line number to retrieve his call before timeout, IP PBX will ring the original extension where the callee answered the call.
