SR6________Limit search (User configurable)

Follow these steps to select preprogrammed search bands and search them for active frequencies:

1.Repeatedly press SRCH to select your desired search bank (SR0, SR1, SR2, SR3, SR4, SR5, or SR6).

2.In the marine and CB bands, you can directly select a channel or search through the band. When M appears at the left most position of the second line, you can directly select a channel (refer to “Search Band Charts” on Page 54). Use the numeric keypad to select a specific two digit channel number (for example, press

1 6 to select Channel 16, or

0 5 to select channel 5). You

can also change the channels by pressing S or T.

There are several group banks in SR2 Police/Fire and SR4 ham bands. You can turn on the groups by pressing the group numbers. For example, to turn off group 0, press 0.

3.Press FUNC, and then SRCH while M is displayed. M changes to S and now you can search through the band. Press FUNC, and then SRCH again to return to the previous mode.
