USING ZEROMATIC

You can set Zeromatic on or off by pressing FUNC then 0. Press FUNC ,and then 0 again to toggle the Zeromatic setting. When this feature is turned on, Zeromatic ON briefly appears in the display, then z appears at the first digit of the second line. When searching with Zeromatic on, the scanner will automatically tune to the correct center frequency (or the step increment closest to the correct center frequency). When searching with Zeromatic off, the scanner will unmute faster on a detected signal but the frequency may not be exact. If the scanner stops on a signal before it reaches the correct center frequency, you can step up or down to the correct frequency using the S or T keys. Zeromatic functions only in search banks 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
