Connecting the Camera to a Computer

After installing the software on your computer, connect your camera to it.

Make sure the camera's power is off.

Connect the USB cable to the USB port of your computer.

Connect the USB cable to the USB termi- nal of your camera.

Your camera turns on.

In Windows XP, the first time you connect your camera to the computer using a USB cable, the [Found New Hardware Wizard] screen will appear.

Select [Install from a list or specific loca- tion (Advanced)].

Select [Next].

Select [Search for the best driver in these locations.] -[Include this location in the search] and then press the [Browse] but- ton.
