2. Guardare attraverso il mirino e premere a metà corsa il pulsante di scatto.

-Quando il soggetto è a fuoco nel mirino compare l'indicatore di messa a fuoco ( ). Se l'indicatore lampeggia, il soggetto non è a fuoco.

Per effettuare la messa a fuoco, premere il pulsante AF.

In modalità SAF (Modalità singola) la messa a fuoco è bloccata finché l'indicatore è acceso. Se si desidera eseguire la messa a fuoco su un altro soggetto, rilasciare prima il pulsante di scatto.

In modalità CAF (Modalità continua), la messa a fuoco viene continuamente rimodulata, a seconda dei movimenti del soggetto, finché si tiene premuto a metà il pulsante di scatto. L'otturatore scatta solo se il soggetto è a fuoco in SAF (Modalità singola). Se il soggetto è troppo vicino alla fotocamera, allontanarsi quanto basta a consentire una corretta messa a fuoco. Se il soggetto risulta difficile da mettere a fuoco, utilizzare la messa a fuoco manuale (p.54) e (p.197). In SAF (Modalità singola), premere a metà corsa il pulsante di scatto. Se il soggetto si trova in un ambiente scuro e il flash incorporato è sollevato, questo emette una serie di brevi lampi per facilitare la messa a fuoco automatica del soggetto.
