Fotografando col flash, esiste una relazione tra il numero guida, il diaframma e la distanza del soggetto. Calcolare se il flash non è sufficiente e regolare di conseguenza le condizioni di ripresa.

Calcolo del campo di utilizzo in base al valore del diaframma

La formula seguente calcola la distanza tra flash e soggetto per diversi valori di diaframma. Distanza massima del flash L1 = Numero Guida ÷ Diaframma

Distanza minima del flash L2 = Distanza massima del flash L1 ÷ 5*

*Il valore 5 utilizzato nella formula è una costante riferita all’uso del solo flash incorporato.

Esempio)

Quando la sensibilità è [ISO 200] e il diaframma F4 L1 = 15.6 ÷ 4 = approx. 3.9 (m) circa

L2 = 3.9 ÷ 5 = approx. 0.8 (m) circa

Quindi il flash può essere impiegato a distanze comprese tra 0,8 m e 3,9 m circa.

Non è possibile utilizzare il flash quando la distanza del soggetto è inferiore a 0,7 m. Utilizzando il flash a distanze minori di 0,7 m, si ottengono zone sfumate ai bordi della fotografia, la luce non è distribuita in modo uniforme e l’immagine può risultare sovraesposta.
