Preparing Your Phone for SprintPCS Ready LinkService

Every time you turn on your phone, your phone will identify

itself and make itself available to the Ready Link network.

䊳When you turn on your phone in an area where

SprintPCS Ready Link service is available, your phone

will display “Preparing Ready Link service...Please wait.”

(The icon appears on the display. Your phone is now

ready to make and receive SprintPCS Ready Link calls.)

Ready Link Call Alerts

There are several ways your SprintPCS Phone alerts you

during SprintPCS Ready Link calls.

When you make or receive a SprintPCS Ready Link call:

䢇The phone sounds (depending on the Ringer Type).

䢇The backlightilluminates.

䢇The screen displays a SprintPCS Ready Link call message.

䢇The other party’s SprintPCS Ready Link number and name

(if available) are displayed.

䢇The screen displays who has the floor.

The LED indicates when the floor is open or not:

䢇The LED Off indicates the floor is open. (You can take the

floor and speak by pressing and holding .)

䢇The LED On indicates you or another contacthave the

floor.
