Ringer Types

Ringer types help you identify incoming calls and messages.
You can assign ringer types to individual Contacts entries,
types of calls, and types of messages.
䢇Preprogrammed Ringersinclude a variety of standard
ringer types and familiar music.
䢇Vibrating Ringeralerts you to calls or messages without
disturbing others.
䢇Downloaded Ringerscan be downloaded rightto your
phone. (See “Downloading Premium Services Content”on
page 228and “Ringers”on page 232.)

Selecting Ringer Types for Voice Calls

Your VI-2300 by Sanyo provides a variety of ringer options that
allow you to customize your ringer and volume settings.
These options allow you to identify incoming calls by the
ringer.
To selecta ringer type for voice calls:
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. SelectSettings and press .
3. SelectSounds and press .
4. SelectRinger Typeand press .
5. SelectVoice Callsand press .
6. SelectWith Caller ID or No Caller IDand press .
7. Scroll to your desired ringer type and press .
