226 Section 3B: SprintPCS Vision
Experiencing Wireless Online Chat
SprintPCS Vision gives you the ability to join wireless
chatrooms from your SprintPCS Vision Phone, to send text
messages and icons to chatroom participants, or to launch a
one-on-one (private) chatroom.
To access a chatroom from the browser:
1. Press to access the main menu.
2. HighlightWeb and press .
3. SelectMessaging.
4. SelectChat.
5. SelectEnter. (You will see a disclaimer for Wireless Chat.)
6. SelectI Agree to enter the Chatmenu.
7. Use your keypad to enter a nickname and press
(rightsoftkey), then selectEnter.
8. Selecta chatroom from the menu for example, “Friends”
or “Singles”. (Once in the chatroom, you may scroll
through the postings to read messages from other
chatroom participants.)
To posta message:
1. During an active chatroom session, selectAdd text.
2. Enter your message.
3. Press (rightsoftkey) and selectSend.
