Handling CD

•Do not write on either side of the disk, particularly the non-label side. Data is read from the non-label side. Do not mark this surface.

•Keep your disks away from direct sunlight, heat and excessive moisture.

•Always hold the CDs by the edges. Fingerprints, dirt or water on the CDs cause noise or improper tracking. If a CD is dirty or does not play properly, clean it with a soft, dry cloth, wiping straight out from the center, along the radius.

Inserting CD

You can operate the external CD-ROM drive unit only when the computer is on.

1.Make sure the busy indicator light is not on.

2.Slide the cover latch to the right to open the cover and raise it.
