15Macro Key Entries
You can achieve many different key sequences automatically with a single operation.
For this function your POS terminal allows you to use a magnetic card reader (MCR), a barcode scanner, the [MACRO #] key and the direct macro ([MACRO n] ) keys. You can make the entries anytime during item registration.
Using the [MACRO #] key
Enter the target automatic sequencing number and touch the [MACRO #] key.
Using the [MACRO n] key
Touch the target macro key.
Using a barcode scanner
Scan the target barcode.
Using a MCR
Swipe the target magnetic card.
NOTE
When the [CR] key is included in a macro, it works as a pause key. The sequence will stop at the clear key and enter into the pause mode. Then you can start manual key entries. When the same automatic key is touched again, the pause mode will be terminated and the sequence will be resumed.
