The parallel interface serves to connect devices with a parallel interface, e.g. a printer.

Operating unit

On the rear side of the operating unit (refer to Figure 2–3) are two flatband cables for connection to the computer unit:

•The I/O USB cable K1 on X1 for all signals which is responsible for the connection of operating units in addition to the display interface. This cable is depicted in Figure 2–3 folded together and is approx. 20 mm longer than illustrated.

When the equipment is started up for the first time, it is necessary to connect a PS/2 keyboard and a PS/2 mouse. Connect the keyboard and mouse before switching on the Panel PC 670/870.
