Insert batteries or fully charged cells into the battery compartment. Be sure to insert the batteries/cells with their correct polarities. The correct polarity is in- dicated inside the battery compartment. Close and secure the battery compart- ment.

2Check to see if the voice recorder now functions as it should. Should this not be the case:

3Open the battery compartment L. Using a pointed object press the Reset but- ton ; down; it is to be found in the battery compartment, located somewhat sunken between the two batteries/cells. Take steps to ensure that the batteries do not fall out of the battery compartment. The voice recorder switches itself off through the pressing of the Reset button;. Close and secure the battery compartment.

4Switch the voice recorder on and check to see if the malfunction has cleared it- self.

13.3 Error messages

When formatting new memory cards (see chapter 8.4 »Using memory cards instead of the device internal storage system«) error messages can occur. Confirm the error messages in these cases; select »OK« to them by pressing the function button D T.

Úthe measures described in chapter 13. "Troubleshooting" do not eliminate the malfunctions as described, or

Úother malfunctions occur during the operation of the voice recorder.

The voice recorder does not contain any parts that can be serviced by the user. If the housing of the voice recorder is opened, the warranty will become void! For repairs which may be needed, consult our service partner responsible for your country.
