2.7 Root Bridge Configuration
The airHaul2 Nexus PRO unit is configured in Root Bridge mode for use as a Root device. This
section provides information on configuring in this mode.
2.7.1 Bridge IP Configurations
The Ethernet (wired-side) parameters need to be configured for the Root Bridge device to
communicate with the wired LAN network. The airHaul2 Nexus PRO unit supports two Ethernet ports
function as a bridge. The Bridge IP Configuration provides configuration for the bridge IP parameters.
Follow the steps below to change the Root Bridge Ethernet Configurations:
1. From the Summary Information page, click on the Bridge IP Configuration link.
2. Enter a new IP Address, IP Mask, Gateway and DHCP status (check if it is enabled,
otherwise uncheck to disable it). If DHCP is checked, the IP address will be assigned by the
DHCP server in the network. If there is no DHCP server, the device will revert to the previous
IP address after 60 seconds.
3. Click on the Apply Changes button to change the settings.
