Connecting to the mains

Whenyouuseyourcamcorderforalongtime, werecommendthatyoupoweritfromthemains usingtheACpoweradaptor.

(1) Open the DC IN jack cover, and connect the AC power adaptor to the DC IN jack on your camcorderwiththeplug’s 4markfacingup.

(2) ConnectthemainsleadtotheACpower adaptor.

(3) Connectthemainsleadtothemains.

PRECAUTION

ThesetisnotdisconnectedfromtheACpower source(themains)aslongasitisconnectedto themains,evenifthesetitselfhasbeenturned off.

•The DC IN jack has “source priority”. This meansthatthebatterypackcannotsupplyany powerifthemainsleadisconnectedtotheDC INjack,evenwhenthemainsleadisnot pluggedintothemains.

•KeeptheACpoweradaptorawayfromthe camcorderifthepictureisdisturbed.
