Recording a picture

Yourcamcorderautomaticallyfocusesforyou. (1) Removethelenscapbypressingbothknobs onitssidesandattatchthelenscaptothegrip

strap.

(2) Installthepowersourceandinsertacassette. See“Step1”and“Step2”formore information(p.12top.18).

(3) Set the POWER switch to CAMERA while pressingthesmallgreenbutton.

(4) Open the LCD panel while pressing OPEN. Theviewfinderautomaticallyturnsoff.

(5) Turn STANDBY to STANDBY.

(6) Press START/STOP. Your camcorder starts recording.The“REC”indicatorappears.The camerarecordinglamplocatedonthefrontof yourcamcorderlightsup.Tostoprecording, press START/STOP again.

Therecordinglamplightsupinthe viewfinderwhenyourecordwiththe viewfinder.
