The relation between the shutter speed and aperture
To shoot clear images, selecting the proper exposure is very important, adding to the chance of achieving the proper focus. The exposure is an amount of light that is determined by the shutter speed and aperture value. The shutter speed is adjusted by the time, longer or shorter. The aperture is adjusted by the scale of the lens hole, larger or smaller. When the shutter speed is faster by one step, the aperture is opened by one step to get the same exposure.
The movement of the program diagram
The program diagram shows the movement of the combination of the shutter speed and aperture value.
The program shift function (page 54) quickly shifts the combination of exposure that the camera has decided upon.

•When the EV value remains the same, the brightness of the recorded image is the same.
