dShoot the image.

You can do the next shooting after “Recording” disappears from the screen.

To return to normal mode

In Step 3, select [Normal].

To reproduce the RAW data file using a computer, the exclusive software is required. Install the exclusive software on the supplied CD-ROM to your computer. Since the RAW data file is a special kind of file, general software cannot open the RAW data file.

The JPEG image is also recorded in the image size selected by the Image Size setup (page 24). (However, [3:2] cannot be selected.) RAW data images are recorded in [8M] size.

Writing data takes more time than in normal recording mode.

Digital zoom cannot be used.

Shooting still images in TIFF mode

– TIFF

Mode dial: /P/S/A/M/SCN

Used when you record an image in uncompressed file format. The image quality does not deteriorate. Images recorded in this mode are suitable for fine printing. A compressed JPEG format image like that recorded in normal shooting is recorded at the same time.
