Note
You cannot erase indexes created at the beginning of recording, ones created by pressing the XPAUSE button of the unit during recording, or ones marked automatically by setting the AUTO INDEX sub menu to ON (see page 47).
1 Set the unit in the index scan mode.
2 Search for the index to be erased.
3 Press the ERASE button.
The index searched in step 2 is erased.
In this case, the segment of that chapter is added to the previous chapter and they become one chapter.
