To display whole of the disc name

Press the V or v button to select “DISC NAME,” and press the b button.

Press the b button.

You can change the disc name on the above screen. However, you cannot edit the disc name on this unit. The RM-P110 (not supplied) is required. You can edit the disc name using the RM-P110 (not supplied) connected to the RS-232C connector. For detailed information on the RM-P110, see “To use an RM-P110 (not supplied) as a keyboard for editing/adding title name and information” on page 29.

Press the MENU button.

Viewing Frozen Pictures

Viewing frozen pictures using buttons on the unit

The following two methods are available to view a frozen picture during playback.

Pressing the XPAUSE button during playback

Playback stops and the picture at that point is frozen. In this case, the frozen picture is a field picture.

To cancel to freeze picture and to play again: Press the XPAUSE button again, or press the BPLAY button.

Pressing the v (FREEZE) button during playback

You can view frame frozen pictures and frozen field pictures in sequence. When you press the v button the first time, the picture becomes a frame frozen picture. When you press the v button the second time, the frame frozen picture is replaced with the first field frozen picture. When you press the v button the third time, the first field frozen picture is replaced with the second field frozen picture. Whenever you press the v button, the frozen picture is replaced in this sequence. The FREEZE MODE item (see page 48) of the SETUP MENU allows you to decide whether the first frozen picture is a frame frozen or field frozen picture.

To cancel to freeze picture and to play again: Press the BPLAY button.

When the unit is controlled using the SVRM-100A remote control unit

To freeze the playback picture

Press the FREEZE button during playback.

When you press the FREEZE button the first time, the picture becomes a frame frozen picture.When you press the FREEZE button the second time, the frame frozen picture is replaced with the first field frozen picture.When you press the FREEZE button the third time, the first field frozen picture is replaced with the second field frozen picture. Whenever you press the FREEZE button, the frozen picture is replaced in this sequence.

The FREEZE MODE item (see page 48) of the SETUP MENU allows you to decide the first frozen picture to frame one or field one.

Press the BPLAY button.
