The OUTPUT/DCC switch, GAIN switch, AUTO W/B BAL switch, SHUTTER switch, and the MENU ON/OFF/PAGE switch and so forth will not function.

The setting of the camcorder changes to the setting before you connected the remote control unit.

By setting the DIP switch inside the camcorder, the setting of the paint adjustment on the remote control unit can be stored (except the setting of the camcorder by the camcorder’s switch)

Note

You can use a setup card to store the camcorder settings before you connect the remote control unit. This will allow you to restore those settings at later time, even if you make changes on the remote control unit and save those changes using the DIP switch in the camcorder. After disconnecting the remote control unit, you can restore the original settings by reading them from the setup card.

For more details, refer to “maintenance manual.”
