The indicator turns off when a valid button is pressed.

Example: Press DVD once.

4 Press SOURCE.

The new assignment is registered.

The indicator slowly lights up twice, then goes off.

To cancel

Press RM SET UP during any step.

Tip

If the operation is unsuccessful, the indicator flashes four times and the remote automatically exits the button assignment mode. In this case, the new assignment is not registered and the previous setting remains.

Notes

If you do not press a button during step 2 through 4 within 60 seconds, the remote automatically exits the button assignment mode. Start again from step 1.

In step 3, if you press the same button more than the possible number of categories that can be selected, only the last category is registered for the new assignment.
