The ignition system is based on a flywheel/magneto system and its ignition timing is set at 230C before top dead center. The magneto consists of a flywheel and an ignition coil. The flywheel (functioning also as a fan) is mounted on the crankshaft, while the ignition coil is mounted on the crankcase.
