AS1020C-3 User's Manual

Terminal Type

This item allows you to select the terminal type for console redirection. The options are ANSI, VT100, and VT-UTF8.

VT-UTF8 Combo Key Support

This item allows you to Enable or Disable VT-UTF8 combo key support.

Sredir Memory Display Delay

This item allows you to set the redirect delay to No Delay, Delay 1 sec., Delay 2 sec. or Delay 4 sec.

System Health Monitor

This opens a submenu that lists the temperature(s) of the CPU(s), system tem- perature, and the voltage levels for CPU1VCore, CPU2VCore, CPU1DIMMVolt, CPU2DIMMVolt, 1.2V for Hyper-Transport, 1.5V, 2.5V, 3.3V Vcc, 3.3VSB, 5Vin, 12Vin, -12V Vcc and battery voltage. There is one BIOS setting in this submenu:

System Fan Monitor

This feature allows the user to determine how the system will control the speed of the onboard fans. If the option is set to "3-pin server", the fan speed is controlled based upon the CPU die temperature. When the CPU die temperature is higher, the fan speed will be higher as well. Select Disable to disable the fan speed control function, which allows the onboard fans to continuously run at full speed (12V). The options are 1) Disable, Full Speed and 2) Server mode.

FAN1 Speed through FAN5 Speed

The speeds of the onboard fans (in rpm) are displayed here.
